The Guillotine provides instant decapitation of laboratory animals. A swift downward thrust of the handle dispatches rats, mice and other experimental subjects quickly and without trauma.

The Guillotine provides instant decapitation of laboratory animals. It is available in two versions.The small version has a maximum opening of 65 mm and is used for small rodents; mice and rats. The large version has a maximum opening of 85 mm and is used for guinea pigs and rabbits.

A swift downward thrust of the handle dispatches rats, mice and other experimental subjects quickly and without trauma. The blades consist of two different metals. The fixed blade is V4A 1.4401 stainless steel and the movable blade is nickel-plated brass. This ensures an excellent cut and avoid any scuffing tendency because of the anti-friction properties of these two metals. Spare blades are available. A security guard ensures that the movable blade stays up when the guillotine is not in use so that no unexpected movement down may take place. Protective cover and locking devices provide a maximum of safety for the user. Also ideal for cutting plastic tubing.

The entire unit is completely washable. No need to disassemble.
