ProgRes CMOS Microscope cameras
ProgRes® CMOS Cameras - Experience high performance
The ProgRes® CMOS Camera Range includes:
- ProgRes CT3 - 3.5 megapixel camera
- ProgRes CT5 - 5.0 megapixel camera
ProgRes® Digital Microscope Cameras provide excellent image quality and fast live images
The digital microscope cameras of the ProgRes® family are based on more than two decades experience in development and production of high-end solutions for digital imaging. These cameras (CMOS and CCD) are suitable for all contrast methods in light microscopy and can be easily integrated into each laboratory via C-Mount and USB 2.0/ FireWire interfaces.
ProgRes® cameras are designed to capture rapid frame rates while keeping power consumption at low levels in accordance with the philosophy of Green Microscopy. The high frame rates of these cameras provide fast live images, and offer easy workflow and convenient use.
The exact reproduction of color and fine details provided by these high resolution cameras make them especially suited for demanding analysis and reliable documentation applications. Furthermore, the optionally cooled ProgRes® research grade cameras, in color and monochrome, have been optimized for scientific research and meet the demanding requirements of low-light applications.
The ProgRes® CMOS Microscope Cameras
Designed to provide both versatility and cost-effectiveness, the digital microscope cameras of the ProgRes® CMOS family allow for quick and precise image capture, and the outstanding CMOS technology coupled with high resolutions, make these cameras an excellent imaging solution for educational institutes and labs.

ProgRes® CapturePro Software
All ProgRes® cameras include the powerful ProgRes® CapturePro image capture software. This powerful and intuitive software suite can directly guide the user to an optimal image. Therefore, the software is suitable both for routine as well as advanced applications.
Whether used for simple image documentation or for demanding image analysis- with merely three mouse clicks you can optimize your images thanks to the automatic functions included in ProgRes® CapturePro software.
Optimal image quality for ProgRes® cameras
Of course, CapturePro supports the excellent quality of the ProgRes® cameras, delivering optimal image quality and reproducible results. Calibration and image correction matrices, for example, as well as shadings, can be individually generated for your specific microscope and camera and are saved in your user profile.
The ProgRes® Software can be operated either as a standalone application or as twain plug-in. For OEM system integrators, a well documented Software Development Kit (SDK) with a sample program and an ActiveX Control are available. Of course, ProgRes® CapturePro is compatible with both Windows and Apple operating systems.
