Anxiety & Depression Tail Suspension Test A complete system includes the suspension cages (3 mice or 6 mice at a time) and a USB based user-friendly software to run, record, analyze and replay the experiments. The results are either printed or stored in an Excel file format. The new version 4 of the tail suspension test can combine strain sensors with video acquisition. The measuring principle is based on the energy expended by mice trying to escape from their suspension. During the test, the movements are analyzed in terms of force, energy and power developed over time. www.panlab.com • www.coulbourn.com 81
