These Gelatin Sponges measure 20 x 20 mm (3/4 x 3/4 in) and are 7 mm (1/4 in) thick. They are supplied sterile pouches containing 2 sponges each. They may be cut into smaller sizes.
Note: Gelatin Sponges should not be used in closure of skin incisions because they may interfere with healing of skin edges. These sponges will expand so special care must be taken when placing in a cavity or in closed tissue spaces.
