Nanomite Injector Syringe Pump
The new Nanomite Micro Injector Pump is a miniature precision pump which allows accurate injection of the smallest of volumes, even to nanoliter ranges. It combines an injector pump head and the body of Harvard Apparatus’ Pump 11 syringe pump. New safety features and microstepping make it the perfect pump for DIRECT microinjections in tight places.

• Micro-inject small fluid volumes precisely • Up to twelve pounds of pumping force • BrightBlue™ LED run light indicator • Perfect for space limited applications • End-of Run and safety alarms • Six foot cable allows save operation and injection in a sterile hood or from behind a barrier
The Nanomite is a Micro Injector Pump which integrates a remote syringe holder / injector head of our small Pump 11 syringe pumps. Holding any small syringe, (from a 0.5µl syringe to a 1 ml syringe,) the pump injector head fits into tiny spaces or remote locations. The precision control mechanism allows accurate injection of the smallest of volumes, even to nanoliter ranges. The Nanomite injector easily mounts onto a micromanipulator or in any clamp via an 8 mm stainless steel rod, mounted on the side of the injector head. The injector head connects to the small electronic control unit via a 6 foot cable, giving the flexibility to position the slender injector head anywhere. The Nanomite allows direct injection, without a long tubing connection to the syringe pump. Preserve precious and expensive materials by direct injection of small aliquots! NEW FEATURES 1. Nanomite Micro Injector Pump has the linear force to handle gas tight syringes. 2. The two modes of operation, volume dispense and rate dispense, allow the user to program Nanomite to inject a target volume, or to pump continuously at a selected rate. 3. A new Volume Dispense Alarm is an “alert” safeguard, which chimes when dispensing is complete. 4. Volume Dispensed is displayed while pumping, and the pump has automatic shutoff after the target volume is delivered. 5. BrightBlue™ LED indicator illuminates syringe while running in “continuous dispense” mode, and flashes in “volume dispense” mode. 6. QuickFill – Fast-Infuse and Fast-Withdraw functions allow quick filling of a syringe, via keypad control. Preserve precious materials because only a small volume is required to fill and directly inject! No compliance issues! 7. Flow range is set directly on the keypad, with a user-controlled selection of units (picoliters, nanoliters or microliters!) 8. There is a simple, menu-driven setup, with bright display and keypad. 9. Unparalleled accuracy with advanced quarter stepping motor control. 10. Separate electronic control unit can controls the pump injector head / actuator from six feet away. 11. Two RS232 connectors, so that pumps may be daisy chained. 12. Foot Switch Control – the unit has a footswitch (included) to start or stop a delivery in either mode. 13. Reversing Switch – built into the rear of the unit. 2 positions - forward or reverse. Force – up to 12 pounds linear force. Resolution – ¼ stepping, with a 1.8 degree stepper. Fast Forward and Fast Reverse –hold down the “ up” arrow and “run” key at the same time and unit will go fast forward ( max rate for that size ) Uni-polar Stepper motor, 1.8 degree with 40 threads per inch lead screw. End-of-Run and Overpressure Alarm –When the volume target is reached the buzzer will sound until a key is pressed. Dimensions – Injector Head / Actuator 7” length X 1 3/8” height x 2” width, controller dimensions 4 ½” x 9” x 4 ½” Syringe sizes – 0.5 µl – 1 ml . Syringe Diameters to 6.00mm. Types of syringes – 1700 , 7000 ,700 and 1000 Hamilton syringes, or any other syringe manufacturer with known ID in mm Infuse or Withdraw Function Volume Dispense or Continuous Pumping modes 4 flow rate ranges – nl/hr, nl/min, µl/hr, µl/min. BrightBlue™ LED –running light indicator – Run/Stop control – via keypad, footswitch or RS232 serial ports, (RJ11 style) Two RS232 connectors, so that pumps may be daisy chained. Direction Indicating Arrow – in the VF display. When running in pump mode the arrow will be “on” indicating the direction of flow, when in the volume dispensing mode the arrow will flash at the same rate as the remote blue LED.
