Z400 Series Universal Standard Laboratory Centrifuge Rotors
The Z400 is cooled by a continuous flow of ambient air through the rotor chamber and housing. Airflow patterns are designed to prevent sample temperature from rising significantly above ambient, even during extended runs. In addition to cooling, the ducting system serves to keep operating noise to a minimum.

The Z400 is cooled by a continuous flow of ambient air through the rotor chamber and housing. Airflow patterns are designed to prevent sample temperature from rising significantly above ambient, even during extended runs. In addition to cooling, the ducting system serves to keep operating noise to a minimum.

Desired speed is set in rpm using the appropriate knob on the control panel. During a run, the actual speed is displayed in rpm.
Set parameters can be displayed by pressing the preset button.

Z400-K Refrigerated Centrifuge
The Z400-K features a CFC-free refrigeration system to keep temperature sensitive samples cool. This powerful system can maintain all of the Z400-K’s rotors at or below 4°C, even at rotor speeds of up to 13,500rpm. The Z400-K is well insulated to minimize operating and compressor noise.

Operating temperature can be set from -10°C to +40°C in 1° increments. During a run, the actual temperature is displayed.
The set temperature can be viewed by pressing the preset button.
