Panlab/Harvard Apparatus proposes a new modular Food and Drink System potentially expandable to monitor activity and/or rearing only needing to add signal amplifiers (and IR frames in the case of rearing).

Our Food and Drink may combine: two liquid bottles/one food and one liquid bottle. Panlab/Harvard Apparatus system registers absorbed food and its wastage. The liquid dispenser is also associated with a hanging drop allowing the collection of the wasted liquid.

The food and drink intake signals from the weight transducers are amplified using the Panlab/Harvard Apparatus LE520. Digitalized data is sent to the META-INT software module for storage and further analysis.

Activity and Rearing signals may be picked for further analysis through the LE530 amplifier in combination with the META-ACT software module for further analysis.

Optionallly, the system can be connected to a Data Acquisition System (we recommend PowerLab®) for visualizing data in analogical format. The generated analogical files can be analyzed using the META-INT software module.
