Checktemp is a pocket thermometer offering a very high degree of accuracy and the unique ability for the user to check the calibration on site without the need to return it to us! It has a fixed tip constructed from rugged stainless steel which houses the sensor.
The Checktemp C displays temperature in °C from -20.0° to +120.0°C with an accuracy of ±0.3°C (-20° to 90°C). The Checktemp F displays temperature in °F from -58° to +302°F with an accuracy of ±0.1°F (-58° to 199.9°F)
This thermometer has a rugged ABS housing that does not require protection. It has a response time of less than 20 seconds compared to the traditional glass thermometers that took over 2 minutes to accurately display the temperature. The large, easy to read LCD can be read from any angle. The calibration check is achieved by simply clicking a switch, which is housed within the battery compartment - if the unit is in-calibration the LCD will display 0.0°C (0.0°F).
This versatile meter has a wide range of applications including research, laboratory and food applications. It is supplied complete with 1.4 V battery, protective cap and instructions.
