The restrainer heaters supplied with the restrainers shown to the left are also available separately and can be used with the Broome Restrainers shown on page 109. These restrainer heating systems feature a flexible heating strip with adhesive backing which can be mounted to the underside of any acrylate restrainer. The temperature is factory set to 37°C (adjustable from ambient to 95°C through the control unit). The system is composed of a heating strip, controller and AC adapter. The temperature set point is adjusted using a screwdriver to turn a recessed set screw on the control unit. The heating strips, controllers and AC adapters can also be purchased separately.
