A fragile bone structure coupled with the high tendency of stress in small animals lends to the continuous risk of fractures with the use of traditional rigid restraints. Mechanical restraints also frequently require the involvement of two personnel; one to restrain and one to perform the procedure. The resulting stress and discomfort for the rabbit can often jeopardize the efficiency of the procedure and consistency of results.
The Snuggle acts as a swaddling for an effective yet comfortable restraint, rather than a rigid structure for immobilization. The multiple flaps lend to many restraint configurations to provide access depending on the procedure. One handler can carry out both restraint and procedures easily with the Snuggle.
The Snuggle is available for rodents, guinea pigs and rabbits, order according to the weight range of the animals.
