Small Animal Retractor System
A complete system consists of three components: the small animal surgery tray (72-2590), the plastic rectractor ring (72-2591 or 72-2592) and the elastic stays. These parts must be ordered separately.

Different areas of the retractor ring may be raised or lowered using the thumbscrews along the edge of the ring to permit adaptation to the anatomy of the surgical site. Available in two sizes, the larger size has 6 thumbscrews while the smaller size has 4.

• Versatile design — adapts to the animal anatomy during the surgery and incision closure
• Autoclavable

A complete system consists of three components: the small animal surgery tray (72-2590), the plastic rectractor ring (72-2591 or 72-2592) and the elastic stays. These parts must be ordered separately.

Different areas of the retractor ring may be raised or lowered using the thumbscrews along the edge of the ring to permit adaptation to the anatomy of the surgical site. Available in two sizes, the larger size has 6 thumbscrews while the smaller size has 4.

The elastic stays provide precise retraction with adjustable tension without obstructing the surgical site. The stays are placed along the perimeter of the ring at preset locations. The elastic stays must be purchased separately from the retractor ring. Three types of elastic stays are available. Single hook stays (A) are for general purpose use. A new single hook stay is available. See to the right for details. You may also select from 2-finger sharp stays (B) or deep tissue blade stays, both solid (C) or with either 2 or 4 blunt fingers (D). All of the blade stays have a hook radius of 12 mm (0.5 in). Select the appropriate stay based on your surgical needs.
