Small Animal Surgery Tray
he small animal surgery tray is anatomically designed to accommodate small animals in either the prone or supine position. There are 10 slots on each of two adjustable retractor arms and 32 slots around the perimeter of the tray that accept elastic stay hooks. These ingenious devices retract the incision exactly where you need it and with exactly the right amount of tension. They do not obstruct the surgical site. See to the right for complete listing of elastic stays which are sold separately.

• Now you can perform solo surgery
• Ideal for use with Harvard Apparatus’s small homeothermic blanket systems
• Easily accommodates animals in either prone or supine position

The small animal surgery tray is anatomically designed to accommodate small animals in either the prone or supine position. There are 10 slots on each of two adjustable retractor arms and 32 slots around the perimeter of the tray that accept elastic stay hooks. These ingenious devices retract the incision exactly where you need it and with exactly the right amount of tension. They do not obstruct the surgical site. See to the right for complete listing of elastic stays which are sold separately.
To maintain an animal’s body temperature, this tray easily accommodates Harvard Apparatus’s small homeothermic blanket, see page D30. It is an ideal choice when precise control of body temperature is required. The blanket and temperature probe cables easily fit through the cable port on the side of the tray. There is also a drain with collection well for fluids.
