MicroPoration is a novel non viral method used to transfect difficult cells lines including primary cells. MicroPoration is a unique electroporation technology which uses a specially designed pipette TIP as the electroporation chamber. Typical electroporation is dependent on cuvette style chambers which are used routinely for electroporation. These pipette tips have been developed to produce a uniform electrical field and minimal heat generation within the chamber which result in higher transfection efficiencies and cell viabilities. Imagine your pipette tip is functionally equal to the electroporation cuvette! With the use of these tips smaller sample volumes of 10µl and 100µl can be transfected efficiently. With the fully programmable pulse generator you can simply pipette up your sample, place it in the pipette station, pulse, and then plate your cells. Fast and easy!
