Mitocell Respirometry System (MS-200, MS-200A)
The Mitocell Respirometry System is a complete package designed to accommodate automatic oxidative phosphorylation measurements in both isolated mitochondria and intact cells.
The MS-200 and MS-200A Mitocell Respirometry System is the system of choice if you need to make oxidative phosphorylation measurements in either isolated mitochondria or intact cells.
The two systems offered are identical with the exception of the included Mitocell. The MS-200 incorporates the low volume MT-200 Mitocell, and the MS-200A incorporates the larger volume MT-200A Mitocell. The MT-200 has working volumes of 50 and 100 ul, while the MT-200A has working volumes of 300, 500, and 1000 ul.
The special software powers a dedicated platform for mitochondrial research and will calculate State 3 and State 4 respiration rates, P/O ratios and RCR. The program also records and automatically calculates general respiration rates and specific oxygen uptake rates.

The Mitocell MS-200 includes a 782 oxygen meter, a 1302 oxygen electrode, an MT-200 or MT-200A respirometer, and special respirometry software specifically designed for making oxidative phosphorylation measurements. The system also includes an electrode service kit and an easy-to-follow manual.
Note: You have the option to purchase a second Mitocell and 1302 electrode to take advantage of the capacity of the 782 meter and software to record from 2 electrodes simultaneously.

*The display resolution of the 982 and 782 meter is 0.1%. The A/D converter is capable of at least 0.01%, so you can work on an expanded scale. However, the limit is normally set to about 0.1% by the noise level of the 1302 electrode.
