Fluovac Isolator Valve
The Fluovac Isolator Valve redirects gas from the Fluovac mask when the mask is no longer in use. This alleviates the need to change the flowmeter or vaporizer setting to compensate.
• Keeps Fluovac balanced when an animal is removed by opening a channel to
room air and directing gas to the
scavenging system
• Valve works by a push-pull control knob that you set to
the appropriate setting
• Please indicate which size masks are in use at the time of order

If the gas flow has inadvertently been set a little high then it could overcome the scavenging action at the mask when an animal is removed. The use of the valve prevents contamination of the area by preventing the gas from reaching the mask.
The valve is activated by the push/pull control knob to the indicated setting. In use the gas supply and scavenged gas flow through specially machined channels in the valve. In the isolation mode the gas flow from the vaporizer is directed into the scavenged gas flow while simultaneously opening a channel to outside air which is sucked into the mask by the scavenging effect thus also clearing traces of anesthetic gas from the mask.
The units are easily fitted into existing masks by the user; full instructions are included.
